So, I’m back to blogging/journaling/writing. Well, I actually have actually been blogging for a couple of months now on a different forum but not related to this. Perhaps that will be shared in the future (insert evil laugh). There are a lot of great med school-related blogs out there (check out my girl Emma’s awesome blog http://d1todr.com/ ), but because it is such a unique experience for everyone, I believe that it is warranted to have so many different voices talking about it. I have been wanting to blog about med school since I started but I just never made it a priority, but now in clinical rotations, I find myself increasingly want to share my thoughts and perspectives on what I am going through as well as basic advice for my friends who will soon be going through the same didactics and core rotations that I am. I’m not sure if this blog will be purely medicine related, but at my core, I’m a doctor (well, soon to be);therefore, I really can’t help if medical things come out because its innate.
I’m approaching the end of my first clinical clerkship, so in the next week or so, I plan to post about not only my experience up until this point, but also some of the things I wish I knew before starting and the best books/resources I used for day-to-day and NBME shelf studying.
Thanks for reading!
